You could say that the printing business runs in Ronne Wright’s blood. Her great-grandfather started a printing business in 1896, and each generation has reinvented itself for the current day. Steeped in the industry and inspired to make her own mark, Ronne launched her business, Wright Business Systems, Inc. (WBS) specializing in commercial printing and promotional products.
Ronne has steered WBS to many milestones including this year’s 25th anniversary. Under her guidance, WBS also earned Women Business Enterprise (WBE) Certification in the state of Pennsylvania, eight additional states, as well as a national certification with Women Business Enterprise (WBEC).
Ronne is a member of the Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) and is very excited to be a founding member of Next Act Fund.
When Next Act Fund asked Ronne why decided to join, she replied,
I am a small business owner who spends time each day, trying to grow my company. There have been many times in my 25-year career when I needed support, both in terms of capital and expertise, to help me grow. Pittsburgh and the surrounding region are vibrant places to do business. Carnegie Mellon University, the technology transfer from colleges, the health care leaders and the young, smart entrepreneurs make this region an exciting place for ideas.
Next Act Fund combines my desire, as a woman business owner, to grow my personal wealth while I help bring capital and expertise to young women entrepreneurs in the region. Next Act Fund provides a path for women to be a meaningful part of the “next act” in our business community.
Next Act Fund is honored and excited to have this dynamic woman as a founding member.
For anyone in Pittsburgh on June 7, we welcome you to our member meeting to meet more of our amazing members. For more information, please RSVP here.
